Retro Engineering & Testing service

Climbing Wall Retro-Engineering

Structural designs and calculations are needed for every climbing wall, roped and bouldering, to conform to EN 12572. Crookes Climbing Wall Services can provide all documentation and any needed retro-engineering to modernize your facility. Our structural engineering team will conduct a site visit, evaluating the condition of your climbing wall and producing a report confirming conformance or detailing any modifications which are required to meet the regulations.

 

Climbing Wall Load Testing

Load Testing is necessary after the initial installation of protection points or after some modifications. Our staff are certified to install, inspect and test protection points. Using pull or in-line tests we determine if the anchor points conform to EN 12572. Testing may only be initiated after consultation with structural engineers please contact us for more information.
