- Where we began Crookes Climbing Ltd. is an independent service provider for the adventure industry, with a specialization in rock-climbing and Artificial Climbing Structures (ACS). With over 500 completed jobs and experience building and maintaining climbing walls of all size and manufacturer we provide a wealth of unbiased experience.
- Our Safety Record Crookes Climbing Wall Services has never had a notable safety incidence, on or off site. Our safety record is exemplary and we continually strive to maintain it. Throughout the company every member of staff is highly experienced and fully aware of our safety procedures. Full Risk Assessments are made before work has commenced and our operating procedures take guidance from years of working to best practice. Method Statements and Risk Assessments are produced before any work is initiated.

Experience Counts
Managing Director and Lead Inspector is Nathaniel McMullan. Mr. McMullan holds the Mountaineering Instructor Award qualification (full AMI member) and is considered a technical expert in the field of rock climbing, additionally he is the national trainer and assessor of the RS2 Route-setting qualification, is IRATA qualified, certified to install, test and inspect fall arrest anchors and has worked in the outdoor adventure industry for over 15 years. Mr. McMullan has experience building climbing walls of all sizes both in ply-wood and of fibre glass, has route-set commercially, completed over 200 detailed ACS safety inspections and acts as technical advisor for a number of climbing facilities.
